Climate-ADAPT

Climate-ADAPT aims to support European countries in adapting to climate change by helping users access knowledge, data and information on topics such as climate change, vulnerability of regions, adaptation strategies and measures, case studies and tools that support adaptation planning.

Climate-ADAPT contributes to the information provision of the following main entry points:

EU policies: EU adaptation policy, adaptation in EU policy sectors (themes include agriculture, biodiversity, coastal areas, forestry, water management, sea and fisheries, ecosystem-based approaches, disaster risk reduction, buildings, energy, transport, health, city) and EU regional policy

Countries, transnational cooperation between regions, cities

Knowledge: topics, data and indicators, research projects, tools, practical examples

Networks: Includes organizations operating at global, European (both EU and non-EU) and transnational level. In addition, an overview is provided of organizations that are active at national, regional and local level, which can be found per country on the national adaptation pages of Climate-ADAPT.

The Climate-Adapt platform contains an up-to-date database with quality-tested information that can be easily searched. It is a useful platform to get inspiration on the topic of climate adaptation and find smart solutions for adaptation strategies of other regions.
